- Always pay your bills on time to show you're a reliable borrower. Aim to pay as much as possible. Pay in full to avoid interest and get a 100% admin fee refund.
- Keep your spending below your credit limit.
- Keep your account active. Use your Honest Card regularly, even for small purchases.
- Invite your friends to apply for Honest Card. We sometimes give credit limit increase as rewards. (This offer is only available for eligible customers)
Beware of scammers
Honest never offers credit limit increases or card upgrades via SMS, phone, or social media. Limit increases are regularly evaluated based on usage history by Honest. You'll be notified through our app or the official Honest WhatsApp.
Why do I never get credit limit increase
There are several reasons why we cannot offer a credit limit increase:
- Insufficient income: Your reported income may not meet the requirements for a higher credit limit.
- Low credit usage: If you’re not using much of your current credit limit, we may not see a need to increase it. Using your card more regularly, even for small purchases, can help.
- New account: If your Honest Card account is new open, we may need more time to see a consistent history of usage and payments.
- Late or missed payments: Late or missed payments can affect your eligibility. To qualify for an increase, it’s important to always pay your bills on time.
- Regulatory limits: Sometimes we can’t increase your credit limit because financial regulations limit how much credit we can offer certain customers.
