Using the Honest App
Open the Honest app.
Tap the “Tap to Pay” button.
Tap your phone on the EDC machine.
Done! Your transaction is complete.
Note: Tap-to-Pay is currently available for Android devices with NFC capabilities.
Using a physical Honest Card
Tap your card on the EDC machine.
Enter your card PIN.
Done! Your transaction is complete.
Terms and Conditions of Honest’s contactless credit card
Domestic transactions
- Transaction limit: You can set your desired transaction limit on the contactless feature on the Honest credit card when shopping domestically. The transaction does not require a PIN.
- Merchant network: Before making a payment, make sure you are transacting at a merchant with a contactless EDC machine. You can also choose from available credit card promotions for more savings.
- Transaction confirmation: Always check the transaction to ensure the amount is correct. Transaction confirmation can be done by pressing the "I Agree" button, where the timestamp will be recorded in our system.
International transactions
- Transaction limit: The contactless feature on the Honest credit card can have different transaction limits in each country, depending on the policy of the destination country.
- Currency: International transactions are usually converted to Rupiah based on the current exchange rate.
- Merchant network: Make sure you are transacting at a merchant with a contactless EDC machine.
- Transaction confirmation: Always check international transactions to ensure the amount is correct. Transaction confirmation can be done by pressing the "I Agree" button, where the timestamp will be recorded in our system.

Is using a contactless credit card safe?
Yes, it is absolutely safe. Contactless technology uses strong encryption to protect transaction data. Each transaction amount without entering a PIN is limited. However, it is still important to keep your PIN and card information confidential!

Do all payment machines support contactless payments?
Not all payment machines support contactless payments. You can identify machines that support this feature by the contactless logo displayed on the machine.
Are there additional fees for contactless transactions?
There are no extra fees for contactless transactions. The fees applied are the same as regular credit card transactions. So, you don't have to worry about making transactions after applying for a credit card and activating it.
Can I disable the contactless feature?
No. However, you can choose not to use this feature when making payments.
